Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026
This policy explains how Faedron ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or book a discovery call. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
1. Data controller
Faedron is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@faedron.co.
2. Data we collect
We only collect data that is necessary to provide our services and improve our site:
- Discovery call requests: name, email, company (optional), and any details you share in the form.
- Email correspondence: content of messages you send us and metadata such as date and subject.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited — processed only when strictly necessary for security and hosting.
- Analytics (with consent): aggregated usage data (page views, referrers, approximate location) when you accept analytics cookies.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 or any special-category data (health, political opinions, etc.).
3. Legal basis for processing
Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for analytics cookies and marketing communications.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to respond to discovery call requests and deliver services you've asked for.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and improve our content. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — when we must retain data for tax, accounting, or compliance reasons.
4. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiries and schedule discovery calls.
- To provide the services you've requested.
- To improve our website, content, and user experience (analytics, with consent).
- To meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Discovery call enquiries: up to 24 months after our last interaction.
- Email correspondence: up to 24 months, unless required for ongoing services.
- Accounting records: up to 7 years, where required by law.
- Analytics data: aggregated and retained for up to 14 months.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request portability of data you provided to us.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior use.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. your national data protection regulator).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@faedron.co. We will respond within one month.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we work to minimise risk and notify you of any breach that affects your rights, in line with GDPR Art. 33–34.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For material changes we'll provide a more visible notice on the site.
